For parents concerned about their child’s pronunciation. A detailed discussion of your child’s needs and the next steps: evaluation, therapy or recommendations.
The consultation includes an English case-history questionnaire.
Speech therapy

Session length adapted to your child’s needs
Online sessions tailored to your child’s pronunciation goals, with parent participation, coaching and strategies to practise at home.

The total session length includes therapy and professional time for documentation, planning, goal updates and recommendations.
How session time is used
30 minutes: about 25 minutes with the family and 5 minutes of clinical work.
45 minutes: about 40 minutes with the family and 5 minutes of clinical work.
60 minutes: about 50 minutes with the family and 10 minutes of clinical work.
The balance may vary according to clinical needs.
Therapy is arranged with Allixia after the initial consultation and any required assessment.
Articulation and phonology evaluation

An online assessment of pronunciation difficulties, adapted to the languages your child uses.
The evaluation examines articulation, phonological patterns, intelligibility and stimulability through a parent interview, age-appropriate activities, speech samples and clinical observations.
Professional time includes analysis, a report and recommendations. The results feedback meeting is billed separately. The report is sent 3–5 weeks after feedback. For a French- or English-language evaluation, one report in either language is included.
Fees will be confirmed before booking.
Professional communications

Available on request for professional communication outside appointments: parent consultations, communication with teachers, daycare providers, physicians or other professionals, and emails requiring clinical review or a detailed response.
Billed in 15-minute increments. Scope and fees are approved in advance.
Additional clinical services and documents

Per 15-minute increment · CA$160/hour
Available on request for additional clinical work or documents outside a regular assessment or therapy session: review of external assessments, reports, other clinical documents, recordings or relevant information.
Billed in 15-minute increments. A cost estimate is approved in advance.
Receipts and insurance
Receipts are provided for you to submit to your insurance provider. Please confirm your individual coverage directly with your insurer. Fees confirmed at booking apply; prices may be updated over time.
All fees shown are in Canadian dollars. Assessments and therapy are arranged with Allixia. Your child must be located in Quebec during online services.
